How to send a money transfer
  1. Address a Credit Europe Bank branch
  2. Fill out the “To send money” short form, indicating the name of the money transfer remittee, the transfer amount, the city and the country of the money transfer remittee.
  3. Provide the original of an identity document and hand over the amount of transfer together with transfer fee for the operator.
  4. Keep the receipt together with the money transfer control number (MTCN) and be sure to tell the remittee all the information which is necessary to receive the transfer. In many countries (including Russia) knowing the money transfer control number is a prerequisite for the transfer receiving.
How to receive a transfer
  1. Address a Credit Europe Bank branch
  2. Fill out the "To receive money" short form or a corresponding form at the service point, indicating the money transfer control number (MTCN), remitter’s name and the country (city) of sending and the amount of the transfer.
  3. Provide the original of an identity document.
  4. Get the money.

Now the customers of Credit Europe Bank do not need to withdraw cash to send a money transfer! On your application the money will be debited directly from your account and sent by Western Union® system to any service point.

Now you have the ability to transfer funds promptly to any of more than 400,000 Western Union® service points in more than 200 countries. This service also allows you crediting the amount of a money transfer sent from any point of Western Union® to a client's current account at Credit Europe Bank.

To get the access to the new service you need to:

  • address any branch of the Bank to access the service;
  • have a valid current account;
  • be the holder of any plastic card of Credit Europe Bank;
  • compile a list of remittees to whom money transfers may be sent via ATM.

Filling an application for the access to the service is not required to obtain funds under the Western Union® system.

Transfer to the mobile phone account

Western Union® offers its customers a new convenient way to get money - transfer to the remittee's mobile phone!

You can use the service of the mobile operators telephone accounts top-up only when you send a money transfer from Russia to the Philippines.

The remittee chooses the convenient way to receive the transfer: either in cash at the Western Union® service point or to the telephone account of a mobile operator* on condition the remittee has the “mobile wallet” service activated.

After receiving the transfer an SMS notification on the status of the transfer is sent to the remitter. The service is provided on the standard conditions of money transfers and at the standard tariffs. Using the Western Union® Gold card discounts is possible.

Can you protect yourself from fraud?


Be careful when sending money a transfer in the following cases:

  • confirming solvency when applying for a job, as well as paying for goods and services, including the rent of the real property which you have not inspected;
  • purchase of electronics and other appliances at attractive low prices;
  • online purchase or purchase at a virtual auction;
  • stolen cars or other valuables return;
  • transfer of money to a stranger who presents oneself as a law enforcement officer/for emergency help to a close relative.
  • payment of taxes and fees for a lottery or other prize;
  • initial payment or fees for loan to intermediaries offering an assistance in obtaining a loan. Western

  • Do not tell the money transfer control number or any other information about the transfer to anyone except the remittee;
  • If the fraudster has learned any details of the transfer, he will be able to receive the transfer;

  • Western Union® requires that the remittee is aware of the money transfer control number for receiving the funds in Russia;
